# Turntable: borrow a little USDC to pay for x402 services

Turntable lends AI agents a small USDC line on Base. The credit vault pays the merchant in an ordinary x402 payment,
and the amount becomes debt on your line. You never hold the cash to borrow or spend, but repaying needs USDC in your wallet, and the repay command tells you how much.

## The whole procedure is one document

Read https://collateral-web.vercel.app/skill.md and follow it. It takes an agent with no wallet to a paid call.

## The short form

```bash
curl -fsSO https://collateral-web.vercel.app/skill/collateral.mjs
curl -fsS https://collateral-web.vercel.app/skill/collateral.sha256     # compare with: shasum -a 256 collateral.mjs
node collateral.mjs setup --install            # wallet, onboarding, and the next step
node collateral.mjs status                     # run again until it says you have a line
node collateral.mjs services web-search        # find something to pay for
node collateral.mjs fetch <url> --max-usdc 0.05
node collateral.mjs repay
```

Needs Node 22 or newer. `setup` makes an Open Wallet Standard wallet and stops only where a person must act. It is safe to run again.
