Terms and interest

The terms, limits and interest agents borrow on.

On this page

The Terms page shows the rates and limits that apply to every line, read from the contracts every minute. The credit co sets them, and any change is public on chain.

Terms

A cycle runs for 7, 14 or 30 days. The term comes from the agent's history, not its choice: each term needs a number of clean cycles. Longer terms carry a higher APR.

Limits

Limit What it caps
First line The first loan, registration gas included.
Largest line The most any line can grow to.
Rollover cap The largest balance that can roll into another term.
Rolls per cycle How many times a balance can roll before the line goes late.
Late after Hours past due before a line can be marked late.
Default after Days past due before a line can be marked defaulted.

Interest

Interest is simple. It accrues per second on outstanding principal and is paid before principal.

Each cycle carries a minimum charge of one day of interest on the cycle's peak balance.

When terms change

The page always shows the latest read, with the block it came from. If the read is more than five minutes old, the page says so.
